The EMIY Future Leaders Program (EFL) is a 14-week peer mentoring program designed to help boys ages 8-13 develop their natural talents and leadership abilities. According to the Search Institute, children between the ages of 9 and 15 are at critical life stages because they frequently disengage from school or engage in risky behaviors that jeopardize their chances of reaching productive adulthood. On the other hand, EMIY's Future Leaders Program focuses on developing leadership skills in boys aged 8 to 13 as a foundation for prevention and intervention. Our leadership strategies assist youth in envisioning a brighter future and planning the steps necessary to achieve their goals. The next session begins in January 2019 and has a maximum capacity of 40 males.
Self-respect and respect for others. For the younger children, we teach them how to help one another. For the older generation, it boils down to this: If you learn to respect yourself in all circumstances, you will never have to worry about disrespecting others.
The term "responsibility" refers to the "must- do's." From completing your homework, performing household chores, and getting the recommended amount of sleep, to caring for your body and mind.
This one is about dedication. to ensure that you follow through on what you say you will do, no more "I'll get to it later." This is about your honorable word. It's about ensuring that something gets done and to the highest possible standard.

The most difficult thing for anyone to do is to look in the mirror and generate an honest appraisal of themselves. What are you doing correctly? How did you find out? Is your self-esteem excessively high? Alternatively, is it set too low? As a result, depression and underachievement occur. We'll cover both extremes and everyone in between.
Simply put, "Never quit, regardless of the circumstances." This is the central concept. Almost everyone has had hundreds of truly excellent ideas that would have worked had we not abandoned them. If you believe something will work, it almost certainly will. You simply have to overcome the obstacles that stand in your way of success.
